Baadshaho 1st Day Collection: As expected, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer action thriller Baadshaho is off to a good start. Released on 2800 screens, the movie recorded 30% occupancy in the morning shows. It witnessed good growth in the noon shows as the occupancy rises to 40%. Morning shows report
The movie recorded 30% occupancy in the morning shows. As expected, the multiplexes have started on a low note. The movie had the best opening in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh because it is set up in these states. The opening is better than most Bollywood movies of 2017 expect the biggies like Raees and Bahubali 2. It is in the same range as Jilly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Noon shows report
As expected the movie witnessed good growth in the noon shows as single screens and mass centres came into play. The movie is performing exceptionally well in single-plexes of UP, Rajasthan, Haryana and MP. The opening is better than Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi’s last films Shivaay and Raaz Reboot.
Generally, mass oriented don’t see huge growth on the first day. But with big Eid holiday tomorrow, so, we can expect the movie to witness good growth in the evening shows.
Baadshaho 1st Day Collection: Early Estimates
As per early estimates, Baadshaho first day collection will be around 12 crores. The final numbers may go higher depending upon the growth in the evening and night shows. The budget of the movie is around 80 crores and it needs to perform exceptionally well in the first weekend to have any chance at the box office.
Directed by Milan Luthria, Baadshaho is an action thriller set during the Emergency era. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’ Cruz, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta in the lead roles.
