The advance booking of Bahubali 2 has started as expected the response has been terrific. Most of the first day shows across the country are filling fast. Hyderabad:

Hyderabad is the home for most of actors and crew members related to Bahubali. The first part of the movie had a record-breaking opening in Hyderabad. The movie is releasing on around 2000 screens in Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad being the biggest area. The advance booking reports we have received so far has been exceptional. The shows of Telugu version are sold out. The advance booking for the Hindi version is also looking strong and the movie will surely get 100% occupancy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

NCR (National Capital Region)

NCR circuit is dominated by Hindi audience. The movie is releasing on around 500 screens in NCR region which include Delhi, Gurgaon, East Punjab, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. The advance booking reports are looking positive with almost all for the first weekend are filling fast.

Mumbai & Pune

Mumbai is a big territory for moviegoers with more than 400+ screens. The movie is releasing in all three languages in Pune and Mumbai but it is the Hindi version which is getting a huge response. The advance booking for Telugu version is also decent and is expected to show good growth on Wednesday and Thursday.

Bengaluru:

The Telugu version is dominating in Bengaluru and nearby areas. The response for the while other versions looks average. As per the report in Koimoi, most of the digital 2K and digital 4K cinemas in the circuits have been sold out for the first day.

Chennai:

Chennai is a big capital for south Indian movies. As far as the advance booking response is concerned, the first day shows of the Tamil and Telugu versions have been sold out while the Hindi version is filling fast.

Kolkata:

In Kolkata, the response is low compared to all other circuits across the country. The reason being simple. The movie is releasing in four languages but it is only Hindi which dominates in this circuit.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Bahubali 2 stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar in key roles. It is one of the most expensive films of India. The movie will take an earth shattering opening and is expected to shatter all box office records in India and overseas.

The CEO of BookMyShow has confirmed that Baahubali 2 has broken all advance booking records. Ashish Saksena said in a statement, “BookMyShow is experiencing an unprecedented advance booking for Baahubali 2. We have already sold over 1 million tickets across languages, even when the bookings have been live for just over a day.”

The ticket costs for Baahubali 2 have been increased to all time high considering the craze for the movie. According to the reports, multiplexes are charging Rs 400 per ticket in South India where the average ticket price is Rs 150. In Karnataka, the ticket rates are sold in as high as 900. PVR Director’s Cut multiplex chain is charging as high as Rs 2400 per ticket.
