The month of February is going to be a busy one in terms of the movies hitting the big screens. While saw Ok Jaanu, Raees, and Kaabil trying their luck at the box-office in January, the list of movies releasing in February 2017 is rather big. Check them out below-
Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh‘s Runningshaadi.com will be hitting the big screens on 3rd February. Directed by Amit Roy, the movie has a very interesting plot going by the looks of the trailer. Taapsee-Amit make an interesting pair and we can’t wait to see how the movie turns out to be. It may just become the first sleeper hit of 2017!
2. Jolly LLB 2
Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film Jolly LLB 2, which is a sequel to Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB, will be hitting the theaters on 10 February. The movie also features Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Subhash Shukla and the plotline is based on real-life cases. The movie is going to be a mixture of comedy, drama, and lots of emotions.
With an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Satyadev Kancharana and Thiruveer, The Ghazi Attack will be hitting the cinemas on 17 February. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the movie holds the record for being the first ever Bollywood film based on the Indian Navy and this fact itself has made the movie rather interesting. The plotline is based on the sinking of PNS Ghazi by destroyer INS Rajput.
Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Divya Dutta, Sharad Kelkar and Sagarika Ghatge have come together for this social thriller. The trailer was as gripping as it gets and it introduced us to a very compelling story. The story revolves around a mysterious bomb blast and how it brings together an NIA officer, a Chief Minister, a journalist and an ex-army man. The movie will release on 17 February, clashing with The Ghazi Attack.
Vishal Bhardwaj is back with yet another engrossing story titled as Rangoon. The movie features Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. The story has been set against the backdrop of World War II, the same time during with India was fighting for its freedom. Kangana plays a Bollywood heroine, Julia, Saif plays a big producer and Shahid plays an army man. The movie will release on 24 February.
6. Aa Gaya Hero
On 24 February, Govinda will also be coming back to the cinemas after a long time with his film ‘Aa Gaya Hero’. Directed by Deepankar Senpati, the movie also stars Richa Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Murali Sharma, Makarand Deshpande and Harish Kumar. The teaser-trailer showed us the very side of Govinda which we fell in love with. We can’t wait to see how his comeback movie turns out to be!
