The movie reported 35% occupancy on the first day which is a good start considering the star cast of the movie. Akshay Kumar’s cameo has provided a huge boost to Naam Shabana first day collection.

Yesterday, the movie had an average start in the morning shows. It reported around 25% occupancy in the morning shows across the country. In the noon shows, Naam Shabana was impacted by hot weather especially in the north and central Indian states. The movie saw good growth in the evening and night shows to end the first day on a positive note.

Made on a budget of 40 crores, the movie needs to perform exceptionally well in the first weekend as the makers have recovered only 10 crores through satellite and music rights. The movie has received mixed reviews from critics and it seems that it will find it difficult to recover the required 50 crores.
