First Weekend Box Office Report of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer OK Jaanu

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer OK Jaanu had an average opening weekend at the domestic Box Office. The movie was released on Friday with decent buzz but failed to get an expected response. Though the chemistry between the two has been applauded but the movie has somehow failed to deliver.

OK Jaanu 3rd Day Collection Report

After an average performance on Friday and Saturday, the movie failed to witness big growth on Sunday as well. It reported an occupancy of around 30% in the morning shows. The problem continues in the later half of the day. The movie is getting strong competition from various release. In metros and multiplexes, xXx: Return of Xander Cage remained the first choice of the moviegoers. Down South, OK Jaanu has no hopes as regional releases including Khaidi No. 150 are going super strong. In North India and Delhi/NCR regions, Dangal is still going super strong and giving tough competition to OK Jaanu. As per early estimates, the third day collection of OK Jaanu will be in the range of 5.5 to 6 crores.

As per the reports, the makers have already recovered their investments before the release through music, satellite and distribution rights. Still, the movie needs to collect 40 crores in its lifetime which is looking impossible with the current trend.

To sum up, January jinx continues for Bollywood as once again the movie released in the first half of January failed to create any impact at the Box Office.
