Raees Budget, Box Office Economics And Analysis

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees will hit the theatres on 25 Jan 2017. The movie lock horns with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. The advance booking of both movies was started on 19 Jan 2017 and as expected SRK’s Raees has taken a big lead over Kaabil. Raees is an important film for SRK as his last three movies were not able to perform. While Salman and Aamir have delivered 300 crore movies in last two years, SRK is struggling for a 100 crores grossers. Raees Budget And Recovery

The makers of the movie haven’t released any official statement regarding the budget and recovery. As per the reports we have, Raees is made on a budget of around 75 crores. Around 20 crores has been spent on the publicity, advertising and promotion work. The total budget of the movie is 95 crores (Excluding SRK fee).

Music rights: 15 crores
Amount recovered: 65 crores

The movie has recovered around 65 crores before release. To be called a hit at the Box Office, the movie needs to make at least 140 crores to be called a hit. Raees needs to make at least 100 crores to be in a safe zone.

    How's that possible???
    Kaabil's collection not to be flop should be far less than 90 cr…(Simple Mathematics)…
