Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree had an incredible opening week at the domestic box office. Released with almost zero expectations, Stree has surprised everyone. After a huge opening weekend with the collection of 32.27 crores, the movie posted big numbers in the weekdays as well. Let’s have a look at Stree first week box office collection.

The movie got off to a superb opening as it earned 6.83 crores on Friday. It saw huge growth over the over. On Saturday, the movie earned 10.87 crores. ‘Stree’ was on a roll on Sunday as it earned whooping 14.57 crores.

On Monday, the movie took full advantage of the Janmashtmi holiday. It earned 9.7 crores on Monday. Even after Monday, the movie remains stable on higher level and earned 6.37 crores and 6.55 crores on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

With the collection of 60.39 crores, Stree is now the 9th highest opening week grosser of 2018. It has beaten the first weekend collection of hits like Raazi (56.59 Crores) and Veere Di Wedding (56.96 Crores)

Stree is now the highest grossing movies of Rajkumar Rao. The movie has received superb reviews from critics. The audience is loving it and it has surpassed all expectations. The movie has provided necessary boost to Shraddha Kapoor’s career.

Talking about the economics, Stree will be considered super hit if it crosses 70 crores mark. The movie will be considered blockbuster if it crosses 100 crores mark.
