After a huge opening week with the collection of 206.04 crores, Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai saw a huge drop on its second Friday. As per Taran Adarsh, Tiger Zinda Hai 8th day collection is 11.56 crores. It takes the total collection of the movie to 217.6 crores. Tiger Zinda Hai is now the fourth highest grosser for Salman Khan after Sultan (300.45 crores), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320 crores) and Kick (233 crores). It is already the highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2017.

Tiger Zinda Hai Screen Count In The Second Week

The movie is now running on 3500 screens in India. In the first week, it was running on record 4600 screens. Talking about screens in the overseas market, it is running on 1000 screens. It was running on 1100 screens in the first week. The movie has performed exceptionally well in the overseas markets, earning $12.5 million in one week.

Tiger Zinda Hai: Comparison with other movies of 2017

Tiger Zinda Hai is the highest grossing movie of 2017. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again (205.5 crores). We are not considering the Hindi version of south blockbuster Bahubali 2. It earned 511 crores at the domestic box office. Tiger Zinda Hai has also beaten lifetime collection of Ek Tha Tiger (199 crores) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (208 crores). It is now the fourth highest grossing movie for Salman Khan after Sultan (300.45 crores), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320 crores) and Kick (233 crores).

Tiger Zinda Hai Box Office Collection: Way Ahead

The movie had a huge opening week. However, the drop on the second Friday is not a good sign. 300 crores is certainly on the cards but for that the movie has to show good growth over the second weekend. The growth in the second weekend will decide where the will go from here.

Tiger Zinda Hai has a good chance to beat the lifetime collection of Salman Khan’s highest grossers, Sultan (320.45 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320 crores). It would be intresting to see if it can challenge the lifetime numbers of PK (340 crores) and Dangal (378.38 crores). Have a look at the day-wise bx office collection of the movie:
